AGS Four Winds opens with a bang in India.
AGS Four Winds has taken over Trinity Removals, an ISO certified company with teams in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.
Payal Singh

Trinity Removals was founded seven years ago by Payal Singh (pictured left) and has its headquarters in Delhi. The company operates both on a national and international level, with many international corporate and diplomatic clients. Corporate clients for national moves include many clients from the Fortune 500 list.

Jérôme Barrault (pictured below) will manage operations for India. Jérôme has been with the AGS Group for eight years, working in France, Cameroon, Malawi and Hungary. Jérôme has been working on the amalgamation of Trinity and AGS Four Winds in Delhi for the past few months.

Payal Singh has extensive experience in the moving profession, which she learnt while working at a removals company in Delhi before she started Trinity. Excited by this new project of the Group, Payal accepted an offer to stay on as a member of the board of AGS Four Winds India, and to fully participate in the further development of the company she founded.

Jérôme Barrault

The combined experience of Payal and Jérôme, and the passion they share for the India project, can only result in its success.

FIDI Congress in Beijing, China.
More than 600 delegates attended the 55th FIDI Annual Congress from 22 - 27 April in Beijing, China.
The Great Wall of China

All of the AGS Group's networks were represented. Joëlle Castro was there for France, Matthieu de Baynast for Europe, Bruno Moussey for Asia, Mathieu Dunod and Valerie Benson for Africa, and Gilles Taïeb attended in his capacity as Director General of the Group. Everyone agreed that the congress was particularly fruitful this year and that Beijing is

an exceptional venue, which lent itself well to this great gathering of international movers.

The first day after arrival was spent at the Great Wall of China which stretches nearly 7,000 kilometres, from the high mountains of Korea to the Gobi desert. Delegates made the most of this opportunity to marvel at one of the wonders of the world. At the opening of the convention, a FIDI Roll call was held where everyone had the opportunity to introduce themselves on video to the rest of the convention.

The convention was an interesting mix of business meetings and seminars with speakers discussing current issues in the relocation and moving industries, combined with cultural and social events.

Tour of Beijing

The AGS team met many of the people we depend on to perform services for clients in countries where AGS is not present. Thanks to the support of this network of agents, AGS is able to provide consistently excellent service. The cultural outings and the evenings provided a chance to meet new members of the industry and to strengthen business ties, secure in the

knowledge that all colleagues present were FAIM-accredited with the ability to provide quality assured service.
Highlights included the colourful Kung Fu Opera evening and the Beijing Street Party. Representatives from AGS always delight in attending FIDI conventions, where the cream of the international moving industry meets.

The first AGS Four Winds Seminar in Singapore.
The Asian network successfully hosted its first seminar in Singapore, from 23 to 25 March 2006.
Novotel Clarke Quay Hotel

The Seminar opened with a welcome dinner at the Novotel Clarke Quay Hotel situated on the banks of the river. Representatives from Hong Kong, Bangkok, Taiwan, Beijing, Shanghai, India, the UK and Europe made the most of the opportunity to get to know each other better and exchange ideas and information about business in their respective areas.

The three days of the seminar were devoted to a number of subjects relating to the management of a profit centre, as well as to the Group’s internal procedures: quality, purchasing, etc. Those in attendance also toured the Singapore office and warehouse.

Bruno Moussey, Yannick Lothou, Payal Singh

Yannick Lothou, manager of AGS Four Winds Singapore, and his team organised a poolside cocktail event to celebrate our first anniversary in Singapore. The guests included people from Michelin Asia Pacific, the French Chamber of Commerce Singapore, Club Med, Credit Suisse, AXA Insurance, and Barclays Capital.

The seminar closed with a dinner party at the Indochine Forbidden City for all the guests.

AGS Madrid and our Spanish colleagues host the LACMA Convention in Seville.
Every year, LACMA (Latin American & Caribbean International Movers Association) members meet to make decisions concerning the growth and development of LACMA as an organisation.
Frédéric Dogny, Joëlle Castro

The Spanish members of LACMA organised the convention this year which was held in the magnificent city of Seville, Spain, from March 19th to 22nd, 2006. Our branch managers Patrick Arnaud (Brussels), Frédéric Dogny (Lisbon), Arnaud de Bodard (Barcelona), Johan Fourie (Madrid) as well as Matthieu de Baynast, Europe Manager, and Joëlle Castro,

Poland celebrates Spring with the Canadian Community.
The Canadian Spring Celebration took place on Sunday, April 23th 2006, at the Intercontinental Hotel Warsaw.
Winning an AGS truck!

An enjoyable afternoon was spent at the hotel, where members gathered for an entertaining programme. AGS Poland was one of the biggest sponsors, as well as being responsible for the logistics of the event.
The event was organised by the Canadian circle, a network of acquaintances from the Canadian community in Poland, which is

associated with the Canadian Embassy. Many people attended, mostly families with children. A tombola and a treasure hunt were the main attractions of the day, and one of the visitors was happy to win a model of an AGS truck.

Easter Egg Decoration

A dessert buffet featuring an elaborate chocolate egg was enjoyed by all. The children were entertained with stories, art, pottery and videos; adults chatted and relaxed on a river tour. As a patron of the Canadian Community in Poland, AGS Warsaw was pleased to be invited to participate in this wonderful afternoon.
