AGS Four Winds has the professional knowledge and experience to safely ship
your motor vehicle anywhere in the world, provided that the customs
laws of the destination country permit the importation of vehicles.
Dependent on the routing between the points of origin and destination,
vehicles can be dispatched either by air, sea or road.
Via sea, vehicles are either shipped in steel shipping containers
or loose shipped aboard Ro-Ro vessels, (Roll
onRoll off). With the Ro-Ro service, vehicles
are driven onto and off the vessel at the relevant Ports of Departure
and Arrival. Transportation between the clients residence
and the port is arranged with the assistance of a road car carrier
or may be driven by the client himself or herself.
As few of the many shipping routes are supported by Ro-Ro
vessels, it is more common for vehicles to be shipped in containers.
In this instance, the vehicle is driven into the container and secured
to the floor. To ensure maximum utilisation of space, a solid wooden
crate (cradle) is built over the vehicle, to allow for loading of
household and personal effects.
As regulations surrounding the importation of motor vehicles differ
vastly from country to country, it is imperative to consult with
AGS Four Winds prior to deciding to ship your vehicle.
