The need for consistent quality throughout our organisation, and market expectations encouraged us to rethink our policy for the purchasing of packing material.

The AGS Four Winds Group therefore decided to centralise the purchasing of its packing materials in France. The required materials are then exported to various branches across the globe. The grouping of purchases has enabled us to reduce expenditure, whilst allowing us to regularly monitor and control the quality of packing material throughout our network.

In addition we are able to regularly monitor the process and to be demanding on our supplier not only to make improvements to the strength of the packing material but also to initiate new materials and to integrate environmental policies.

AGS Four Winds has created various ‘designer’ cartons to assist in ensuring the protection and safety of your consignment. We strongly suggest that you make use of the ‘First Necessity’ carton in which you can pack items considered to be primary needs on arrival at your point of destination. This carton is strategically placed in the consignment to ensure it is the first available carton at the point of destination. Other "designer" cartons: include: The Halogen Lamp carton to eradicate damages sustained to standard lamp bases. The CD / DVD carton to adequately protect your CD’s / DVD’s and their covers. Furthermore, all our branches have their own in-house carpentry workshops and can build custom-made crates for fragile ornaments or furniture (e.g. a mirror or a glass tabletop).
