In yet another step in its dynamic expansion plan in Asia, AGS Four Winds is proud to announce the opening of three new branches, situated in Korea, the Philippines and Chennai, India. This brings the total number of branches in Asia to nineteen branches in eight countries.

Dear Colleagues and Partners,

Expansion of the AGS Four Winds Network in Asia

AGS Four Winds Korea
South Korea is a major economic power and one of the wealthiest countries in Asia. With one of the most successful and fastest growing economies in the world since the 1960s, the Korean economy is now one of the three largest in Asia, and thirteenth largest in the world. South Korea plays a key role in international trade and has become a leader in the field of science and technology.

In yet another step in its dynamic expansion plan in Asia, AGS Four Winds is proud to announce the opening of three new branches, situated in Korea, the Philippines and Chennai, India. This brings the total number of branches in Asia to nineteen branches in eight countries.

In only three years, AGS has succeeded in establishing a sturdy presence in Asia, in its endeavour to accompany its clients wherever they move, and to offer them highest quality service from the first step of their move right through to their complete installation in their new home.

South Korea's capital, Seoul, is the world's second largest metropolitan city with a population of 10,3 million, of which the expatriate community of 1,2 million has risen thirty percent over the past year, making this an inevitable choice for opening a branch for AGS Four Winds.

Managing Director: Ben Garcia
Originally from Spain and fluent in Spanish and English, Ben has spent ten years in Asia. Ben joined the removals industry four years ago and has acquired sales and marketing experience in the industry.

AGS Four Winds Philippines
Formerly know as EIM, the branches in Manila and Cebu in the Philippines are now a part of the AGS Four Winds network. Manila, the capital of the Philippines, has a rapidly expanding population that is nearing 90 million. An estimated 6-7 million Filipinos, a good 10% of the population, live and work abroad, mostly in the Middle East, as well as in Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Western Europe. They remit some $7 billion per year, which is the country's largest single source of foreign exchange.

The Philippine economy, which declined in 1998 but which has been growing at a steady rate of 7% for the past few years, is mainly based on agriculture. Other developing sectors include manufacturing and mining, as well as the tourism industry. The rapid development of the outsourcing industry in the Philippines is today attracting many foreign businesses in the trade, agriculture and telecommunications sectors.

Managing Director: Chris Ward
Chris Ward has held various Trade Commissioner positions at the Australian Trade Commission for over twenty years, assigned to Washington DC, New Delhi, Manila and Hong Kong. Chris then went on to occupy the position of Executive Director for the Australian New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines for a period of three years, where he was charged with developing the interests of member firms in the Philippines. When this contract came to an end, Chris undertook a consultancy role for the Quality Control for some large removals companies in the Philippines, developing  their  Quality Manuals  and  procedures  for

FIDI/FAIM certification. Chris achieved this for three branches in the Philippines. Chris was invited to join EIM as Managing Director in early 2005, and now, further to acquisition by AGS Four Winds, is a proud member of the AGS Group.

AGS Four Winds Chennai
With a population of over 8 million, Chennai (formerly called Madras), is currently the fourth largest metropolitan city in India, and has consulates for thirty-five countries within the city.

Chennai's economy is based upon the automobile, technology, hardware manufacturing, and healthcare industries. Not only is a large portion of the automobile industry located in Chennai, India's second-largest exporter of software, information technology and information technology-enabled services is also located in Chennai, with Bangalore in the lead. These sectors have also attracted a number of expatriates who live and work in the region.

Chennai Port, one of India's largest ports, is over 125 years old and has expanded recently to become a major container port. Chennai is served by Chennai International Airport, one other port at the coast and two railway terminals. Five national highways radiate outwards to the rest of the country, from the city of Chennai, making Chennai easily accessible and well-connected.

Managing Director: Cyril Gigot
Cyril is currently the managing director of AGS Four Winds Bangalore, and has taken on the task of managing the new branch in Chennai. Cyril first began his working career at AGS in 1999, after having studied extensively in the faculty of Business Management. Cyril is fluent in French, English and Spanish.

Please join me in welcoming Ben Garcia and Chris Ward to AGS, and we wish them and their teams in Korea and the Philippines, every success.

I would also like to congratulate Cyril Gigot on a job well done with the branch in Bangalore, and we know that Cyril will prove our new branch at Chennai to be an outstanding success.
