POSITION: FUTURE BRANCH MANAGER(S)

TRAINING SITES: EASTERN EUROPE

PROFILE:
With 2 to 4 years’ tertiary education and 2 to 5 years’ professional experience, the candidate has a calling to work in a foreign country, in a multi-lingual environment. Perfectly fluent in English, a second language would be appreciated. The candidate should have good management and leadership skills, a good capacity for work, and be adept in profit centre management. The candidate should master all commercial, financial and accountancy aspects of the position, as well as all operational and logistical aspects of the transport industry. This position would also be suited to converted military personneL. Given the international aspect of this profession, the candidate should be readily available and geographically mobile.

MISSION:
While training to become a future branch manager, the candidate is to assist the current branch manager in all management duties, i.e.:

  • Administrative (staff management, pay, accountancy, recovery)
  • Commercial
  • Technical (management of vehicle pool, imports/exports, stocks, schedule)

On completion of this 6 - 12 months training period, the candidate is to be offered a management position at a location on one of the continents where AGS is present today, or at the training site. During the training period, the candidate will be considered to be geographically free. The candidate could be required to carry out one or more replacements during the training period.

Remuneration: during the training period on one of the above mentioned sites, the candidate would be an expatriate and receive a basic salary of between 33 K€ and 40K€. The company would provide accommodation and a company car.
