POSITION: FRENCH / ENGLISH BILINGUAL INTERN

8 MONTH INTERNSHIP:
3 months (PARIS, LONDON, CAPE TOWN) and 5 months (SHANGHAI)

In the past 34 years, the AGS Group has built up a network of 114 branches in 75 countries specializing in door-to-door relocation solutions. A leader in international removals, the AGS Group is creating a Group Tender Pricing unit in Shanghai, China, and is looking for a bilingual student for an internship of eight months to carry out the skills transfer from our branches to the new unit.

MISSION:
To transfer skills to a new team in Shanghai:

• Set up the Group Tender Pricing unit, to provide rates for tenders received by all branches of the Group,
• Establish rates according to tenders’ Scopes of Work,
• Work with the various branch managers in order to validate the rate policy that they wish to apply and submit the answers within the deadlines stipulated in the Scope of Work,
• Participate in recruiting and training the new team in Shanghai,
• Implement tools for reducing the lead time in answering tenders, as well as a price database to enable us to answer all types of requests,
• Report directly to the Group Managing Director, who is based in Shanghai, on progress of the mission and for final validation of the pricing strategy,
• Create a dashboard to manage tenders.

TRAINING:

• Ideally a student of a business school (HEC, ESSEC, etc.), the candidate will be trained at our branches in Paris and London, and possibly South Africa.
• The training will be for a period of one to three and a half months, following which the candidate will go to AGS Shanghai to complete the transfer of knowledge.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Organised and methodical,
• A flair for numbers,
• Bilingual French / English essential,
• Proficient in the use of Excel, Access, Word, and Powerpoint.
